Unit Meeting—Popcorn, Movie and Discussion

We will gather at the home of Dee Johnson in Bayfield for popcorn and a movie!

We will watch the movie "Iron Jawed Angels".

Angelica Huston won a 2005 Golden Globe award for her portrayal of Carrie Chapman Catt.
“Katja von Garnier’s “Iron Jawed Angels” tells the remarkable and little-known story of a group of passionate and dynamic young women, led by Alice Paul (Hilary Swank) and her friend Lucy Burns (Frances O’Connor), who put their lives on the line to fight for American women’s right to vote.”
Afterwards, we will have a lively discussion about the "themes" of the movie and how they relate to our current work in the league.
